Mojo Monday

I took some time today to make a card. I followed the sketch from Mojo Monday. I felt so frantic trying to complete it before John Mason woke up from his nap, but was nice to do some crafting again. It's been a long time since I've been able to play with my papers. The monkey is from an Inkadinkadoo set. I colored her with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from Verve Stamps.

Pictures!

Finally! I have some photos of the kids to share.

I honestly have no idea where time goes. John Mason is already 7 months old!! As of now, the girls and I are taking our Christmas/New Year's break from schooling. I am looking forward to getting back into our routine. Everyone's day seems to go better with a bit more structure. But for now, the girls are enjoying playing with new toys and games. I'm enjoying resting when I can. John Mason is keeping me most busy with nursing, playtime, attempted solid food feedings, and clean up. Prayers needed on the solid food dilemma!

Oh! At the friendly request of Lauren, I will try and keep my blog updated with progress on our new house! YES! We are finally going to build. The plans are in phase one at the architect - Garrell Associates - and we should be reviewing those next week. Brett has started taking down trees and removing some fencing. If it stops raining, I'll take some pictures and get them posted. I'll get some pictures of the kids up, too! Promise.

New Year's Goal - Read my Bible every day! My dear friend, Brandi, is encouraging her friends to read our Bibles. I encourage you to do the same. The Bible Reading Plan I've chosen is the 5x5x5 - Five minutes a day, five days a week, five ways to dig deeper. Amen. I need this. Thank you, Brandi, for encouraging others to grow!

He's still working on me,
Rachael
